The W.H.C.C. programme features a number of competitions. They are an excellent way of showing your work off to fellow club members (and to other clubs in our 'external' competitions), and for getting valuable feedback.

4 round competition running throughout the season. Separate classes for Colour Prints, Monochrome Prints and Slides. The 4 rounds comprise 2 'open' competitions and 2 competitions where a subject is defined.

We have regular competitions with other camera clubs. Slides and Prints are selected by the members during the 'Selection Evening', before doing battle with Henley, Goring, Ealing & Hampshire House and the JPCR

The 'Sound and Slide' is an annual fun competition, judged by the audience. Club members create a short slide show, and set it to music.

A fun competition, where taking part is more important than the presentation. Entrants submit a panel of prints to be judged by the audience. Print sizes are kept small, with no modification (digital or darkroom) allowed, which makes this a great introduction to club competitions.

Natural History has always been a favorite subject at the WHCC. A competition for both Prints and Slides which aims to find the premier Natural History image of the year.

This competition is only open to images (slides and Prints) submitted in one of the 4 rounds of the Ladder competitions during this season. This competition will find the premier image of the year.
