The Whitchurch Hill Camera Club has been running for over 25 years, and with a membership of 80+ (and still growing)
we believe that we are the biggest and best camera club in the Reading area. Our membership draws from many diverse backgrounds,
including a strong female contingent. Whether you're interested in landscape photography, wildlife, still life, portraiture, sports photography or any of the
other facets of this fascinating hobby, you will find them well represented at the W.H.C.C.
We firmly believe in giving an equal balance between traditional and digital photography. We also have black and white experts and our members have access to the club's dark room equipment and library
We hold weekly meetings at 8:00pm every Wednesday between September and June at the
WHITCHURCH VILLAGE HALL. Our meetings feature photographic presentations, practical
sessions, social events and competitions. Please have a look at our programme.
During the summer months, we organise a popular series of field trips out and about in the Reading area.
We also have a digital group that also meets once
a month, with special emphasis placed upon learning about digital photography and
manipulation.
Why not come along and join in the fun, you are welome to visit us for up to three seperate occasions before we ask you to become a member - New members are always welcome!
